Position: Hydrovac Operator/Truck Driver

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain a Hydrovac and various specialty tools
Work alongside labourers – 90% of your day is outside of the truck, boots on the ground
Work with clients to provide quality service based on specific job needs
Complete minor maintenance and checks on equipment
Ensure safety for all team members and property
Work as part of a team and follow direction from supervision
Leave the job site in better condition that when we got there. Clean, safe and job done.
Haul hoses, PPE and tools to where the work is being done
Complete required paperwork for projects and jobs
Ability to be on rotational on-call

Role Specifications:

2+ years’ experience operating a Hydrovac required (preferred)
Valid Class 1 or 3 driver’s license and experience operating a manual transmission
Willingness to work additional overtime shifts outside of regular schedule
Clean and current driver's abstract
Proficient in reading, writing and speaking English.
CSTS-09 & OSSA Regional; BSO or Common Safety Orientation certification required
Having First Aid, H2S Alive, Ground Disturbance, certification would be a significant asset

Strong mechanical aptitude
You are safety focused when it comes to people and equipment
Perform physically demanding work (able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis)
Enjoy working outdoors in all weather conditions
Able to communicate in an efficient manner remotely
You have the ability to work well in a team, share a laugh with your coworkers and get the job done safely
