Position Title: Landscape Construction Truck Driver

Reports To: General Manager and/ or Foreman

Job Summary: As a driver with a AZ or Restricted A License you will operate our vehicles and trailers to transport, load and unload materials and equipment to various work sites in the GTA Area. On occasion, there will be opportunities to work with a crew on landscape construction projects for both residential and commercial clientele. During the winter there is snow clearing opportunities!

Responsibilities:

Able to work under Foreman/General Manager supervision and instructions
Adhere to Health and Safety requirements and Company’s Policies and Procedures.
Pre-Inspect Vehicles and Record of Vehicles and Trailers
Drive Vehicles and Trailers in a safe and timely manner
Load, Properly Secure and Unload machinery and materials
Responsible for basic vehicle/ equipment maintenance i.e. Grease, fuel and other miscellaneous maintenance services.
Assist with both hardscape and softscape landscaping such as digging, planting, carrying material, laying interlock, laying sod, brick, concrete work, cleanup of site
Able to operate tools and machinery safely
Ensuring clean, safe working areas and maintain the cleanliness of all tools and equipment.

Qualifications:

AZ or Restricted A License
At least two years of professional driving experience, and must provide a clean driver’s abstract
Punctual, dependable
Ability to work in outdoor environment
Good understanding of landscape materials and installation procedures an asset
Attention to detail
Must be fluent in speaking, reading and writing English
Good Customer Service
