McPherson Cabinetry is a dynamic growing cabinetry company; producing & installing cabinetry for multi-unit housing projects, new builds, renovations & high-end custom homes in the Cowichan Valley. We are a dedicated & professional crew of over 24 employees strong, operating within a modern computerized shop.

We are looking for a truck driver/shipper who would also do basic shop work when not on deliveries. This is an entry level position and we will train.

Responsibilities:

Driving our delivery truck - 5 tonne, diesel, box style
Loading & unloading
Organizing & managing the shipping area
Handle product safely and without damage
Operate equipment & tools in a safe & efficient manner
Keep vehicle clean & tidy
Be accurate and neat in all duties
Other duties as required

Qualifications:

Valid BC drivers licence & clean driving record
Experience in a cabinetry shop is preferred, but not required
Knowledge of tools and woodworking would be nice to have
Must be able to work in, and contribute to, a team environment
Must be able to lift and carry up to 60 pounds
Must be energetic and have good communication skills
The biggest qualifications are a great attitude and aptitude!

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $24.00-$27.00 per hour
