- Transport materials and loads between site locations and Morven Quarry

-Safely operate triaxle dump truck with pup or tag trailer, as required

-Safely operate stone slinger

-Safely operate tractor and heavy equipment float trailer as required

-Complete daily equipment and vehicle checklists, inspect truck equipment, such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil and water. Maintain truck log, according to MTO regulations.

-Assist mechanic with preventative maintenance of vehicles, keep trucks clean and in good condition.

-Maintain valid Ontario AZ or DZ driver’s license and insurable abstract.

-Generate daily truck rental sheets for Company invoicing.

-Promote a safe working environment by participating in tailgate/safety meetings; identification of hazards; and ensure proper use of PPE.

Qualifications:

-Experience is an asset

-Valid A Class or D Class Driver’s license, Air Brake Endorsement (Z)

-Clean abstract and CVOR

-Driver record check and license validity check

-Secondary (high school) certificate or equivalent

-Excellent communication skills
