Position: Hydrovac Operator/Truck Driver

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain a Hydrovac and various specialty tools
- Work alongside labourers – 90% of your day is outside of the truck, boots on the ground
- Work with clients to provide quality service based on specific job needs
- Complete minor maintenance and checks on equipment
- Ensure safety for all team members and property
- Work as part of a team and follow direction from supervision
- Leave the job site in better condition that when we got there. Clean, safe and job done.
- Haul hoses, PPE and tools to where the work is being done
- Complete required paperwork for projects and jobs
- Ability to be on rotational on-call
Role Specifications:
- 2+ years’ experience operating a Hydrovac required (preferred)
- Valid Class 1 or 3 driver’s license and experience operating a manual transmission
- Willingness to work additional overtime shifts outside of regular schedule
- Clean and current driver's abstract
- Proficient in reading, writing and speaking English.
- CSTS-09 & OSSA Regional; BSO or Common Safety Orientation certification required
- Having First Aid, H2S Alive, Ground Disturbance, certification would be a significant asset

- Strong mechanical aptitude
- You are safety focused when it comes to people and equipment
- Perform physically demanding work (able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis)
- Enjoy working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Able to communicate in an efficient manner remotely
- You have the ability to work well in a team, share a laugh with your coworkers and get the job done safely
